Peter Outar is a credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God and the Founding and Lead Pastor of New Beginnings Church of Astoria in New York. A Bible teacher for over 25 years and Lead Pastor of the church he founded over 8 years ago, Peter has a love for the Bible and is an expositor of the Word.

Prior to founding New Beginnings Church of Astoria, Peter and his wife Shirley served as laypersons teaching adults and youth. They served as counselors at Times Square Church in New York City from 2010 to 2012 and led the premarital counseling area. Shirley has served as a Sunday school teacher and soloist in church choirs

In addition to being a credentialed Minister with the Assemblies of God, Peter has a Bachelor’s Degree from Pace University in New York City with a major in Information Systems. He has spent over 25 years in the Financial Services industry in both the Technology and Business Process areas. He is also the author of A New Beginning in Christ, a workbook designed specifically for new believers or those who need to be rooted and grounded in the Christian faith.
